Put your chamber on your Wix site

Wix keeps third-party code in its own frame, so there are two honest ways to do this and we would rather tell you both than pretend there is one.

Two lines

This is the whole thing.

The CRM generates these two lines for your own chamber, with your slug already filled in and a copy button beside them. This is what they look like.

On Wix

Three steps, and you are done.

1. Add an Embed HTML element

In the Wix Editor choose Add, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML, and drag it where your chamber content should sit.

2. Paste both lines into the code box

Click Enter Code, pick Code rather than Website address, paste the snippet and click Apply.

3. Give the element room

Wix runs that element inside its own frame, so drag its height until nothing is cut off. On a Premium plan you can instead load embed.js under Settings and Custom Code and place the container with a Velo custom element, which lets it size itself like it does everywhere else.

The Embed HTML element is the no-code route. The Velo route is the one that flows as part of the page.

Questions

What Wix chambers ask us

Will it slow my Wix site down?

No. It loads after your page has finished drawing, so your site appears exactly as fast as it does today. If our server were ever unreachable the space is simply left empty and nothing else on your page breaks.

Will it match my fonts and colours?

It borrows the typeface and link colour of the page it lands on, so it reads as part of your site rather than as a panel bolted on. If a borrowed colour would make the text hard to read it quietly uses a safe one instead, and you can set the accent yourself.

What if I later decide I want the free Chamber Culture website?

It is still there, included with your plan, whether or not you ever use it. Nothing about running Shareables on your Wix site now makes that harder later, and nothing you paste in today has to be undone.
