What changed, when it shipped, and what it means for your chamber. Written for the person
running the chamber, not for engineers. A release a chamber can use today is the only kind
listed here.
Your chamber data is now ready for the Chamber Culture app for iPhone and Android, which is in testing now and included on every plan. Nothing changes for your chamber until you switch the app on.
Members will see business enquiries sent through your directory, and can send deals, jobs, news and events to you for approval from their phone.
Staff will have a task list, the approvals queue, renewals coming due, the prospect pipeline and membership applications in their pocket.
Members can update their business logo and photos, and show a digital membership card.
Push notifications are built in, for event reminders the day before, invoices and ticket confirmations, and they stay off until your chamber turns them on.
Opening a broadcast now shows the email itself next to its details, so you can check exactly what members will receive. A scheduled email can be edited without losing its send time.
The email appears on the broadcast page, with its subject and preview text, for scheduled and sent emails alike.
An "Edit email" button takes a scheduled email off the schedule and opens it for editing, with the original send time already filled in when you schedule it again.
Before it goes out, a scheduled email shows how many people would get it, instead of a row of zeros.
The invoice PDF now looks like your own letterhead, with your logo, address and brand colour, and the invoice page puts every action in one tidy row of buttons.
The PDF shows your logo and mailing address at the top, a clear amount-due box, and a "How to pay" panel with your online pay link and your mail-in instructions.
Paid invoices print with a PAID stamp, so a member has a clean record for their books.
On the invoice page, staff can download the PDF, copy the pay link, open the pay page or send the invoice from one row of labelled buttons.
Voiding an invoice now sits behind the "More actions" menu, so it cannot be clicked by mistake.
Every invoice link you send now has a Download PDF button, so a member who pays by check, or needs a copy for their books, can print the invoice without asking you for one.
The PDF shows your chamber name, who it is billed to, the invoice number, issue and due dates, each line, and the amount due.
If you have written payment instructions under Settings (for example where to mail a check), they are printed on the PDF too.
It works for open and paid invoices. Draft and void invoices stay private, exactly as before.
Write an email blast now and pick the day and time it should go out, in your chamber's own time zone. It sends by itself at that moment.
In the email composer, choose "Send or schedule", then "Or send it later" and pick a date and time.
A scheduled email shows when it will go out, and you can cancel the schedule to edit it again.
If something stops a scheduled email from sending (for example the mailing address was removed), it goes back to your drafts with a note saying why.
A news post dated in the future now shows its public link on the edit page. Put that link in your newsletter ahead of time and it starts working on the post's date by itself.
Add your chamber's mailing address once under Settings, Messaging, Member email, and it is printed at the bottom of every email blast automatically, next to the unsubscribe link, as the law requires.
Email blasts will not send until a mailing address is saved, and the composer tells you where to add it.
Until an address is saved, your dashboard and the email composer show a short note explaining why, with a button that takes a chamber admin straight to the address field.
Readers can unsubscribe in one click from their inbox's own unsubscribe button.
Automated funnel emails get the same footer: your mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe link. They now also come from your chamber's name, and an email step waits (rather than being skipped) until a mailing address is saved.
Billing now has a Payments tab listing every dollar your chamber has received, with totals, exports and real card refunds. Sponsorships always reach your books, your emails can pull in live events, news and deals, and Settings has a cleaner, roomier layout.
Billing, Payments lists every payment with date, member, method, fees and refunds, filters by date or member, totals the view, and exports to CSV. Record a cheque or cash payment against an open invoice from the same place.
Refund a card payment straight back to the card. The refund is checked with your processor first, so it can never be sent twice.
A sponsorship sold without an invoice is marked "Not invoiced", with one click to create the invoice or record the payment you already received. New sponsorships create their invoice by default.
The Live events, Member news, Hot deals, Job board and MarketSpace blocks now fill your emails with what is current at the moment the email goes out, linked to your website.
When someone registers for an event and gives a business name, the new prospect is named after the business.
Choose whether new member listings show their representatives, under Settings, Public directory, and apply it to every listing at once.
Settings has a wider, calmer layout with one clear Save per section.
Every admin screen was reviewed and polished so it fits a phone, reads clearly and works from the keyboard. Dashboard numbers now open the people and records behind them, you can give members a set number of days to pay, and your event forms and emails show everything you set up.
Set how many days members have to pay under Settings, Taking payments, and send every unsent invoice in one step from Billing.
Each number on the dashboard opens exactly the members, contacts, invoices or emails it counts.
Extra registration questions appear on your event signup forms, and you can ask them when you add a registration yourself, with the option not to email the attendee.
Report rows open the member, event or invoice behind them.
Invoices now tell apart an email being opened from the payment page being viewed, and say "Not sent" until you send them.

Pick a separate color for the admin menu so your brand color can stay bold on your website.
Every change to a contact's email preferences is now recorded, including who made it and why.
Member sign-in is harder to abuse, and a separate "Email me a sign-in link" button can no longer be overridden by a saved password.
The link on every invoice and reminder now takes a member to a pay page on your own website address, with your logo on a clean white tile, instead of a page on ours. And each invoice now shows whether the email was delivered, whether it was opened, and whether the member has looked at the invoice itself, so you know before you chase.
Pay links use your website address. Anyone who copies or forwards one sees your chamber, not a third-party name.
Delivered, opened and viewed marks appear on each invoice as they happen.
Preview an invoice or reminder email exactly as the member will receive it, including the sender, recipient and subject line, before you send it.
Editing an event description saves reliably again.
Emails you send to members now go out through your own sending domain every time, which keeps them out of junk folders.
When you publish a document in the Newsletter category, a news post is created for it automatically: same title and description, a "Read (PDF)" button, and the first page of the PDF as the cover. It shows on your website's home page and News page right away, and the Newsletters page keeps listing every issue. One document, one post; edit the post afterwards and your edits stay.
In the member portal, a business can now upload (or remove) the wide header photo on its public listing and add a free-text hours line such as "By appointment only" alongside the weekly grid. Both were only possible from the chamber side before.
Every email the CRM sends on your behalf (newsletters and broadcasts, invoices, receipts, event and portal emails) now carries a reply-to address, so when a member hits Reply it lands in your inbox instead of a mailbox nobody reads. Set it under Settings, Sending domain, "Replies go to"; leave it blank and it uses your own address.
The portal sign-in page and the website sign-in card now show one form: email, an optional password and a Sign in button. Members who have set a password type it and are in; anyone else leaves it blank and gets a one-time link by email, exactly as before. A sign-in started from the website's home page now lands in the portal instead of back on the home page.
The dashboard now shows what you have received this month (with last month beside it), what is still outstanding, what to expect in the next 30 days (invoices coming due plus renewals not yet billed) and what is 30+ days overdue, with the invoices due this week, the memberships renewing soon and your next five events with seats taken and money collected. Every number and row opens the invoice, member or event behind it.
Recent activity is now "What's happening": the week's numbers at a glance (members signed in, listing edits by members, event registrations, invoices paid, emails sent, opt-outs), each one a link, and a feed grouped by day where repeats collapse into one line ("84 records updated: A, B, C and 81 more") instead of scrolling past. What your members do themselves, like signing in, editing their listing or registering for an event, now shows by default; automation stays one click away.
Each contact on a member's page now shows when they last signed in to the portal. The Members list has a new "portal use" filter: never signed in, no sign-in in 30 or 90 days, or signed in recently, so you can see exactly who still needs a nudge after an invite goes out.
Every member portal sign-in now records how it happened (emailed link, password, or Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn), from which address and on what device, the same detail your own team's sign-ins already carry. Refused attempts and sign-outs are recorded too, and each contact shows when they last signed in. It all appears on the contact's timeline and the Audit screen.
Some email security systems open every link in a message before the reader sees it, and that was enough to unsubscribe a member who never clicked anything. The unsubscribe page now asks for one confirming tap, and the inbox's own Unsubscribe button still works in a single click.
When Champlin Enterprises support signs in to help with your account, that sign-in is recorded for the platform but no longer shows up in your Recent activity, audit log or exports. Only your own team's actions appear there.
Members see the same two easy ways in everywhere: an account they already use (Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn, matching the email you have for them) or a one-click link by email. A member with a password can now sign in with it right on your website, and a sign-in always lands them in their portal. The portal sign-in page has a photo behind it for every chamber, and members who came in by link are shown where to set a password if they want one.
When a business picks a membership level priced per employee, the join form now asks how many employees it has, shows the exact total before checkout, and charges that amount. The headcount is saved on the member record so renewals match the first invoice.
Each membership level now has a "Show on the public join page" switch, separate from Active. Keep a free or internal level for your staff to assign without anyone being able to pick it when joining online.
After you send a broadcast, the report page now shows a live progress bar with how many are waiting, sent and could not be sent, updating on its own until the last one is out. You can leave the page; sending carries on in the background.
Add extra questions to any event's registration form, like a phone number or what a vendor sells, and mark any of them required. Answers show on each registration and export with the rest.
The last few dates that were still reading the server's clock now read yours, so an evening in your chamber stays part of that day everywhere in the system.
A news post scheduled for a date goes live at the start of that day for you, and a sponsorship or ad placement runs through the whole of its final day, including in your ad performance figures.
Renewal invoices are generated at 2 AM your time rather than 2 AM in London, so they carry your date.
Everything with a date on it now runs on your chamber's own clock rather than the server's, so nothing expires or renews a few hours ahead of your day.
Hot Deals, job postings and MarketSpace listings now run through the end of the day you set, so a deal that ends on the 15th is still on your website all day on the 15th.
We ask for your timezone when you sign up, filled in from your browser, so it is right from your first day.
Automated billing and the member portal now ask you to set your timezone before they can be turned on, because invoice dates, reminders and your website calendar all depend on it.
You can change it any time in Settings, Currency and region, with a live preview of what your staff will see.
You can now decide, per sponsorship package, whether its sponsors show up in your website's "Thank you to our sponsors" band, so an event-only sponsorship can appear on that event's page without also landing on your homepage. Sponsor logos can also link wherever the sponsor chooses instead of always going to their member profile.
Every package your chamber already sells keeps appearing in the band exactly as it does today, nothing changes unless you switch it.
New event and general sponsorship packages appear in the band by default; banner-ad packages stay opt-in, the way they already worked.
Set a link for a sponsor's logo when you record their sponsorship, and it takes visitors there instead of their member page.
The events feed your website reads now supports searching by keyword, filtering by category, sorting, and paging through results, so a chamber with a busy calendar is no longer limited to one page. Separately, you can now choose to pass the card processing cost on to members who pay online, while members who pay by check or cash are never charged it.

Set your own percentage and flat amount. Most card processors charge about 2.9% plus 30 cents, and that is what is prefilled

The payment page shows the invoice amount, the fee and the total before the member commits, and says plainly what they would pay by check instead
Your dues income is reported exactly as before. The fee is recorded separately on the payment and on the receipt, so it never inflates what you raised
Card network rules cap surcharges at 4% and a few states do not allow them, so check your state rules before turning it on
Renewal invoices are only generated once you turn on automated billing under Settings, Payments. A chamber that is still loading members, renewal dates and tier prices never wakes up to invoices it did not ask for.
Off by default for new chambers. Chambers already being billed automatically stay on.
While it is off, nothing is generated and no membership is lapsed automatically. Invoices your team raises by hand still work.
When you turn it on, every active membership renewing in the next 30 days gets its invoice at the next nightly run, so check your renewal dates first.

Chambers in the Philippines can collect dues, event tickets and sponsorships in pesos through Maya Business or PayMongo, on the chamber's own merchant account, with no platform markup.
