GZ Community is an add-on, not a product you can buy on its own. GrowthZone lists it under "Add-on Products" alongside GZ Pay, GZ CMS and GZ Learn, and it attaches to a GrowthZone AMS. GrowthZone does not publish a price for any of it. If you are searching for alternatives, that usually means one of two very different things, so this page answers both.
If you already run GrowthZone and want a better member community, your alternatives are community platforms that integrate with your AMS, chiefly Tradewing, Higher Logic and general-purpose tools like Circle. If what you actually want is to leave GrowthZone, the alternative is a different system of record, and Chamber Culture CRM is a chamber-specific one with published pricing, a website and AI included from $150 a month.
Search results conflate two questions here, so it is worth separating them before you shortlist anything. The first question is "GZ Community is not working for us, what else adds a member community to our AMS." The second is "we are unhappy with GrowthZone generally, what else is there." The answers barely overlap. GZ Community itself is straightforward: GrowthZone describes it as a branded space where member and non-member audiences share knowledge, join live sessions with public access, collaborate and stay connected year round, with a modern messaging experience and email notifications. It is sold as an add-on to a GrowthZone AMS, and GrowthZone's pricing page publishes no numbers at all, asking you to request a demo.
Each column below is sourced from that vendor's own website (as of September 2026). "Not published" means the vendor does not publish it, not that the capability is missing.
| GZ Community (GrowthZone add-on) | Chamber Culture CRM | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A private online community module: discussions, live sessions with public access, messaging and email notifications, for member and non-member audiences | A chamber management system of record with community-facing surfaces built in, not bolted on |
| How it is sold | An add-on product, listed alongside GZ Pay, GZ CMS and GZ Learn. It attaches to a GrowthZone AMS | One plan. There are no add-on products and no modules to buy |
| Pricing | Not published. GrowthZone's pricing page asks you to request a demo rather than listing a price | $150 / $300 / $500 per month, published by chamber size |
| If you do not use their AMS | It is positioned as an add-on to a GrowthZone AMS | Not applicable. If you keep your own website, Shareables embed the live directory, events, news, jobs and deals into it |
| Nearest true alternatives | Tradewing (association engagement platform, no published pricing, integrates with more than twenty AMS platforms), Higher Logic (online community software for associations, no published pricing), Circle (general-purpose community software, published from $89/mo) | Chamber Culture CRM, if the real goal is replacing the system of record rather than adding a forum to it |
| What a chamber usually wants instead | A discussion forum is rarely the thing chamber members ask for | A member portal, a Member Marketplace of member deals, jobs and news, member-to-member referrals, and a public AI Directory Concierge |
| AI | GrowthZone publishes an AI-powered newsletter as a separate add-on, and an AI programme it describes as rolling out | AI drafting, plain-English reporting and at-risk alerts, included at every tier |
| Security and access | Not published on the GZ Community page | Multi-factor authentication, a full audit log and role-based access, on a published security page |
| Currency and locale | Not published | 23 currencies, event times stamped in the chamber's own wall clock, used by chambers outside the United States |
| Accessibility | Not published | WCAG 2.2 AA with a published VPAT 2.5 conformance report |

If your AMS is staying and you want a better community layer on top of it, these are the options a chamber or association actually ends up looking at.
An association engagement platform covering community, learning, events and engagement analytics, explicitly designed to sit on top of the system of record. It publishes a directory of more than twenty AMS integrations. Two caveats worth knowing before you call them: it does not publish pricing, and GrowthZone AMS and ChamberMaster are not on its published integrations list, although MemberSuite, one of GrowthZone's own AMS brands, is. The long-standing name in association community software, now spanning Higher Logic Thrive and the Vanilla platform, with member engagement, acquisition and retention as its published solution set. It does not publish pricing; the call to action is to book a demo.
Not association-specific, but it publishes its price, which makes it a genuine option for a smaller chamber that only wants discussions, courses and events in one branded space: Professional at $89 a month, Business at $199 a month, and a custom Plus tier. You would be integrating it yourself, and it holds no dues or membership record.
Here is the honest version from our side: Chamber Culture CRM does not sell a discussion-forum community product, and we are not going to invent one to fill a row in a table. What chambers ask us for instead is participation they can see and members can monetise, so that is what is built in: a member portal with a real feed, a Member Marketplace where members submit their own deals, job postings and news for one-click staff approval, member-to-member referral logging, and an AI Directory Concierge that answers the public over your live member directory and routes each match to a member as a tracked lead. All of it runs off the same member record as your dues and events, at no extra charge, on every plan. See the full feature list →
Plenty of people arrive at this search wanting to leave the platform rather than extend it. That is a different shortlist, and the systems on it are systems of record rather than community layers.
Whichever way you go, get your data out before you cancel anything. Our migration guide includes five copy-and-paste scripts you can send GrowthZone or ChamberMaster to request a complete export, and explains why the WMS Export Tool is not the export people think it is.
GrowthZone does not publish pricing for its AMS lines or for GZ Community as of September 2026; its pricing page presents ChamberMaster, GrowthZone AMS and MemberSuite and asks you to request a demo. Tradewing and Higher Logic do not publish pricing either. Circle does: $89 a month for Professional, $199 a month for Business, and a custom Plus tier.
Chamber Culture CRM publishes three plans sized to membership: Starter $150/mo (under 500 members), Growth $300/mo (500 to 2,000 members) and Pro $500/mo (2,000 to 10,000 members). Every plan includes the chamber website, the member portal, AI drafting and reporting, and all four payment gateways. Setup and guided migration run $0 to $1,000 depending on the size and messiness of your data. See the full pricing page → or read how switching works →
GZ Community is a reasonable module. The question is whether a module is what you needed.
your GrowthZone AMS is staying put, your members genuinely want a discussion forum, and adding one module to an existing contract is simpler for you than changing systems.
the community add-on was a symptom rather than the problem, and what you actually want is one chamber-specific system with published pricing, a website, a member portal and AI already in it.
GZ Community is GrowthZone's online-community module. GrowthZone lists it under "Add-on Products" alongside GZ Pay, GZ CMS and GZ Learn, and describes it as a branded space where member and non-member audiences share knowledge, join live sessions with public access, collaborate and stay connected year round, with a modern messaging experience and email notifications. It is an add-on to a GrowthZone AMS rather than a standalone product.
Not published. GrowthZone's pricing page presents its three AMS lines (ChamberMaster, GrowthZone AMS and MemberSuite) and asks you to request a demo rather than listing prices, and there is no published price for the add-on products either. Chamber Culture CRM publishes $150, $300 and $500 a month by chamber size, with everything included and no add-on products at all.
It depends which problem you are solving. To add a community layer to an AMS you are keeping, the realistic options are Tradewing (association engagement platform, integrates with more than twenty AMS platforms, no published pricing), Higher Logic (association community software, no published pricing) and Circle (general-purpose, published from $89 a month). To replace the whole system rather than extend it, the chamber-specific options are Chamber Culture CRM, ChamberHive, ChamberMate and Chamber Nation, with Novi AMS as the higher-cost association option.
GrowthZone positions it as an add-on product to its AMS, so it is not marketed as a standalone purchase. That is the practical reason so many searches for alternatives end up being searches for a different platform entirely: if the module only makes sense on top of a system you are already unhappy with, changing the module does not fix much.
Not a discussion forum, and we would rather say so than stretch the word. What is included on every plan is the participation layer chambers actually ask for: a member portal with a live feed, a Member Marketplace where members submit their own deals, job postings and news for one-click staff approval, member-to-member referral logging with confirmation by the receiving member, and a public AI Directory Concierge that answers visitors over your live directory and routes each match to a member as a tracked lead. The platform is built and running. Start from $150/mo, with AI and a chamber website, not add-ons.
